One of my favorite things about my house is the big tree right outside my bedroom window. On weekend mornings I open up all the blinds and lay in my bed and look at my tree and think how did I get so lucky to have such a great tree to look at. Every season it changes and I discover more to love about my tree. Here are some pics of the tree in winter:
I have pics from other seasons but I can't find them right now.
So today I come home from work to find a massive hunk (about 2/3) of my tree is GONE. Seems my tree really is the neighbors' tree. And they are building a garage and had to remove the part that was in their yard. So now this is my view:
And if I look down--
LOVELY.
To say I am sad and angry wouldn't begin to cover it. This comes on the heels of my neighbor on the other side cutting down 4 big fir and pine trees in her yard. I don't have any before pics but here is one I took today. Before, we could barely see a part of her house, now look.
I know that people have a right to have their property the way they want, but damn!

Hey, did your email address change? I still have your comcast one and I wasn't sure if it still worked. I'm thinking about calling that yarn warehouse tomorrow to see if they're open. If they are, I'll give you a call.
